Installing the loudspeaker and the microphone

Press in the two catches (1) on the driver's seat. Pull up and remove the head restraint (2).

Remove the upholstery from the head restraint. If the zip fastener catch is missing on the zip fastener, detach the teeth at the ends of the zip fastener. Then pull the zip fastener apart.

Remove the backing from the double-sided adhesive tape on the reverse of the loudspeaker. Secure the loudspeaker in the cut out on the head restraint.
Install the new swan neck microphone on the right hand side of the head restraint. Use two new screws.
Route both cables down into the existing channel in the head restraint. Continue along the support leg
Tape the cables in the channel on the head restraint.

Turn the head restraint upholstery inside out.
Mark up for holes on the right hand side of the head restraint. Measure from the underside (1) of the side 120 mm (4 23/32") upwards. Mark out between the two seams (2.3).

Punch out the hole using the hole punch from the kit. Use a wooden or cork underlay.
Turn the upholstery the correct way.
Carefully thread the upholstery over the microphone and the head restraint.

Route the cables down inside the upholstery and down under the seat. Use a piece of wire or similar. Position the connectors in the left front edge of the seat.
Reinstall the head restraint.
Secure the cable onto the member under the seat.

Remove the cover for the screw from the right hand front mounting for the left-hand front seat. Position the connectors under the front edge of the seat.
