Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0022 is stored if the carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the power supply to the handset.

Substitute Value 

• Only hands-free operates.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to power supply in the wiring (power supply) to the handset from the control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The carphone handset is not functioning
• Message in the text display (for carphones with Volvo On Call).
