Checking the wiring and component

Check the cable between carphone handset D3 (terminal #34) and carphone control module A3 (terminal #3). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .

Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.

Remedy as necessary.
