Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-000C is stored if the carphone module registers an open-circuit in the signal between the cradle switch and the control module.

Substitute Value 

• Only hands-free operates.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the wiring (cradle signal) between the handset and the control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The handset does not function
• Message in the text display (for carphones with Volvo On Call).
