Checking the wiring and component
HINT: The hands-free loudspeaker is connected to the carphone module via a connector under the driver's seat.
- Ignition off.
Check the cable between the carphone module connector A4 (terminal #4) and the hands-free loudspeaker connector B10. Check the cable between the carphone module connector A5 (terminal #5) and the hands-free loudspeaker connector B9. Check these cables for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .
Try replacing the hands-free loudspeaker if no fault is found in the wiring.
Remedy as necessary.
