Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0006 is stored if the carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal to the hands-free speaker.

Substitute Value 

• Only the handset functions.

Possible Source 

• There is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the wiring (HF+, HF-) between the hands-free speaker and the control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Hands-free mode does not function
• Message in the text display (for carphones with Volvo On Call).
