Checking the Components And Wiring

Check the connector for the antenna cable. Check for loose connections. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.

Check the antenna cable. Check that the cable harness is not trapped.

Take readings between the antenna signal cable and signal ground. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Take readings between the signal ground and chassis ground. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
