• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between carphone control module A12 (terminal #12) and handset loudspeaker signal D4 (terminal #35). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, permanent faults .

  Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.

  Remedy as necessary.
