• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between carphone module connector terminal A14 (terminal #14) and the handset cradle signal D6 (terminal #37). Check for an open-circuit according to Open circuit, permanent faults .

  Check the cable between carphone module connector terminal A2 (terminal #2) and the handset signal ground D5(#36). Check for an open-circuit according to Open circuit, permanent faults .

  Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.

  Remedy as necessary.
