Checking the wiring and component

HINT: The hands-free loudspeaker is connected to the carphone module via a connector under the driver's seat.

• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between carphone module connector A5 (terminal #5) and hands-free loudspeaker connector B9. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, permanent faults .

  Check the cable between carphone module connector A4 (terminal #4) and hands-free loudspeaker connector B10. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, permanent faults .

  Try replacing the hands-free loudspeaker if no fault is found in the wiring.

  Remedy as necessary.
