Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DIM-18 is stored if the signal in the wiring for the speed signal (1/9) is high at the same time as the speed exceeds 5 km/h for at least 10 seconds.

Substitute Value 

None.

Possible Source 

• short-circuit to supply voltage in the wiring for the vehicle speed signal (1/9)
• internal fault in the combined instrument panel.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The speedometer does not operate
• The cruise control does not function.
