Resetting remote control

NOTE: If the remote control buttons are pressed in too many times without establishing contact with the receiver in the car, the remote control loses functionality and must be reset.

Ignition off
Remove the key from the ignition switch
Close the doors and the sun roof/hood.

- Press a button on the remote control three times in 5 seconds.
  The remote control is now reset.
  
  Try to lock the car using the remote control.

Is the car locked?

YES
FAULT NOT FOUND: Troubleshooting has been completed.
NO
Refer to Replacing batteries
