Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0010 is stored if the carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the signal to the handset speaker.

Substitute Value 

• Only hands-free operates.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the wiring (loudspeaker signal) between the handset and the control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The carphone handset is not functioning
• Message in the text display (for carphones with Volvo On Call).
