Checking wiring and connectors

Check the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the cable between control module terminal #65 and rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connector terminal #2. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
