Checking the components and wiring

Check the cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A61 (#B1) and heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) terminal #4. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Check the cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A62 (#B2) and heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Try a new heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) if the above fault-tracing does not remedy the fault.

Remedy as necessary.
