Fault-tracing information

Check that the settings (volume, fade, balance, central volume or effect volume) are not causing the fault symptom.

Check that the sound reproduction from several sources (radio, CD or cassette playing).

Check that all connectors are correctly connected to the audio unit and amplifier.

Check that the loudspeakers are not broken.

Was a fault detected? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO

To carry out correct fault-tracing, select one of the following alternatives:

1. No or poor sound generated from the center loud speaker.
2. No or poor sound reproduction from one or a number of the car loudspeakers.
