Checking the connectors

Check connector 54/3R and connector in anti-lock braking system (ABS) for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation . Check especially for any damage.

Check the voltage supply to the anti-lock braking system (ABS) via fuse 11B/11, fuse 11B/12, fuse 11C/9 and the main fuse 11A/3.

HINT: If cause of fault is found, install components, connect connectors etc. If cause of fault is not found, do not install ABS control unit.
