P0454, P0455/ECM-4308: Leak Diagnosis, Large Leak: Verification

  1. Turn ignition off. Reconnect all components and hoses. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector.
  2. Using scan tool, activate quick fuel tank system test.
    NOTE: Aftermarket scan tools may not be capable of activating a quick fuel tank system test. If not, drive vehicle to duplicate conditions for setting DTC.
  3. Start the engine. Check if DTC reset. If DTC did not reset, diagnosis is complete.
