Fault Conditions

ECM-6440 is stored if ECM registers a fault in camshaft reset valve signal cable.

Variable camshaft timing is disabled while ECM-6440 is set. Camshaft remains in maximum performance position. Vehicle may have a rough idle while ECM-6440 is set.

MIL is illuminated while ECM-6440 is set. Idle may be uneven when DTC is set.
