Removal & Installation

  1. Remove upper timing belt cover. Clean area around valve thoroughly to prevent contamination of oil ducts or valve.
  2. Disconnect check valve connector. Remove screws holding reset valve. Lift reset valve off mount and completely remove gasket.
  3. Follow reverse order to install. Use a new gasket and tighten reset valve screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
