Removal & Installation - Rear Engine Mount

NOTE: Rear engine mount is

Remove rear engine mount nut. See Fig 1.

NOTE: Manufacturer recommends using NEW torque rod bolts during reassembly.

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the lower torque rod bolt on the transaxle side. Remove the rear engine mount bolt. See Fig 2.

CAUTION: Lifting engine more than 1 inch damages the inner CV joint on the left-hand side.

Support weight of engine with a jack. Remove 2 engine mounting bolts and slacken off the last bolt slightly. See Fig 3.
Remove engine mount by lifting collision protection system and engine mount slightly. See Fig 4.

Install new engine mount. Install the 3 engine mount bolts in the transaxle. Install engine mount nut. Tighten to specification. See Figure and Figure .
