Cylinder Head: Cleaning

Clean the gasket faces for the following;

• Exhaust manifold. Check that the studs are tightened.
• Coolant bypass channel.
• Thermostat housing.
• Intake manifold.
• Cylinder block.
• Camshaft cover.
• Blow the oil ducts clean.

Use a razor blade or a gasket scraper and gasket solvent (P/N 1161 440), or equivalent.
