Removal & Installation (S90 & V90)
- Remove screws and cover from power sun roof motor. Cut hole in headliner to access motor. Remove nuts and screws attaching motor to vehicle. Disconnect electrical connector and remove motor.
- Adjust sliding sun roof mechanism to neutral position. See Figure. Adjust motor to neutral position. See ADJUSTMENTS . To install, reverse removal procedure.
- If motor will not install easily, move one mechanism forward a small amount. If motor is still difficult to install, return first side to neutral position and try moving opposite side a small amount. Maximum amount of movement allowed is .040-.079" (1-2 mm).
