Oil Pressure Switch

Oil pressure switch closes and turns oil pressure warning indicator off when engine is running and system oil pressure is above 5.8-8.7 psi (40-60 kPa). If oil pressure warning indicator does not turn off, a problem with the engine oiling system may be present. Stop engine immediately and check oil level.
