Checking for a short-circuit
- Ignition off.
- Check the cable between the selector switch and the clutch valve. Check the cable between the brake valve and the control module. Check for short-circuits according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults and Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
- Ignition off.
- Check the cable between the brake valve and the clutch valve. Check the cable between the clutch valve and the control module. Check for short-circuits according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults and Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
- Ignition off.

- Check the cable between selector switch connector terminal #2 and brake valve connector terminal #1 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
- Ignition off.
- Check the cable between brake valve connector terminal #2 and clutch valve connector terminal #1 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
- Ignition off.
Check the cable between brake valve connector terminal 2 and control module connector terminal 3 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Cars with manual transmissions: Check the cable between clutch valve connector terminal #2 and control module terminal #3 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
