Connecting tools

NOTE: The exhaust system may be extremely hot if the car has been driven recently. Allow the exhaust system to cool down before beginning the check. Failure to do so may damage the special tool.

NOTE: To ensure that there is no exhaust leakage, see Flanged Joint, Assembling .

Connect tool 9995546 and pressure regulator 9995544 to the exhaust pipe
B4204S2 engines: block one of the exhaust pipe ends
Adjust the pressure to 0.4 bar . A lower pressure may be necessary depending on the condition of the exhaust system.
