Checking components and wiring

HINT: If the cable and the combined instrument panel are fault free the voltage between terminals 1 and 2 on the outside temperature sensor connector should be approximately 5 V. 

Check the signal cable between the combined instrument panel #A19 (#A19) and outside temperature sensor #1 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
