Checking components and wiring
HINT: If the cable and the combined instrument panel are fault free the voltage between terminals A and C on the fuel level sensor connector should be approximately 5 V.
Check the signal cable between the fuel level sensor #A and the combined instrument panel #B17 (#A47) for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .
Remedy as necessary.
