Signal Too Low: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

• Ignition off
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Ignition on.

  Read off the gas level in the fuel tank.

  If the read off volume exceeds 4 liters (approximately 0.88 UK gallons), the gas level sensor is functioning.

  If the read off volume is 4 liters (approximately 0.88 UK gallons) and the gas tank is not empty, then the fault remains.

  NOTE:

  If the gas tank is empty, a volume of 4 liters (approximately 0.88 UK gallons) is then shown. This makes it difficult to determine whether the fault is still present or not.
