Status check

• Start the engine and allow it to idle or drive the car until it has reached operating temperature.

  Check whether the engine coolant temperature (ECT) gauge is displaying a value outside its permitted range.

Does the engine coolant temperature (ECT) gauge display a value outside its permitted range? 

• YES
