Installing alternator

Install: 

• the generator in the correct position
• the upper screw, but do not tighten
• both screws common to the generator and A/C compressor, but do not tighten.

Tighten: 

• the upper screw.
• the lower screws for the A/C compressor.
• the screws common to the generator and the A/C compressor.

Install: 

• the fan shroud with the 4 x screws
• the holder for the connector before the lower screw on the left-hand side (vehicle's) of the fan shroud. Tighten the lower screws. Thread the two uppermost screws
• the fan's connectors
• engine cooling fan (FC) relays in the holder
• the evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve to the engine cooling fan (FC) shroud
• the connector with holder on the right-hand side of the fan shroud
• the tie strap around the wiring
• hoses and wiring in their holders/clips
• the charge air hose to the charge air cooler (CAC)
• the relay holder. Tighten the upper screws.
