Checking for an open-circuit

Check cable between data link connector (DLC) terminal 4 and ground terminal for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

Check cable between data link connector (DLC) terminal 5 and ground terminal for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
