Checking the control module

• Ignition on.
• Disconnect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) from the VIDA station. Use it in stand alone mode and connect it to the data link connector (DLC) in the car.
• Use the System test function to test the control module internal circuits (GPS). For more information about the System test, see System Test . The test can take up to approximately 40 seconds.

  Check if the control module is OK or not.

  If control module works OK is displayed.

Is the control module OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to Intermittent fault 

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing control module
