Remove the SIPS bag from the seat

Release the igniter cable

Note how the igniter cable is routed and where the cable ties are placed.

• Cut the cable ties (2).
• Disconnect the igniter cable from the clips.

Remove the SIPS bag cushion module 

Remove the cushion module from the backrest frame as follows:

• Remove the 2 screws, Torx 25.
• Remove the cushion module.

Remove the sensor unit 

Remove the sensor unit from the front SIPS-pipe as follows:

• Remove the screw, Torx 25.
• Remove the pressure plate.
• Remove the sensor unit
• Let the clips remain on the SIPS-pipe's sensor housing.

Remove the SIPS bag from the seat 

• Remove the complete SIPS bag (i.e. sensor unit, igniter cable and cushion module) from the seat.
