Checking throttle body (TB)

• Slight jerks normally occur during engine braking.
• Check that the seal on the throttle body (TB) adjustment screw is not broken (see arrow).
• Check that the throttle spindle functions properly and is not sticking.

Is the seal broken and/or is there play in the throttle spindle? 

• YES 

  Refer to Replacing component 

• NO 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
