Checking power supply to the data link connector (DLC)

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect Volvo Scan Tool (ST) and remove connector from the data link connector (DLC).

  Connect a voltmeter between the data link connector (DLC) terminal 16 and ground.

The voltmeter should read battery voltage. 

• OK 

  Refer to Checking power ground to the data link connector (DLC) 

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Checking the fuse and the cable
