Checking warning indicator

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect brake fluid level sensor.
• Connect a temporary lead between brake fluid level sensor connector terminals 1 and 2.
• Start engine.
• Speed engine up once.

  • Brake circuit warning indicator should come on.
  • Ignition off.
  • Remove temporary lead.

Does brake circuit warning indicator come on? 

• YES 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking component
