Replacing the headlamp wiper arm: Removal

Ignition off.

Push the cover to one side at the mounting on the wiper arm.

Slacken off the nut, then screw the nut in a few turns to protect the thread on the wiper mechanism spindle.

Remove: 

• the wiper arm from the wiper arm mechanism spindle by supporting the nut with a pipe wrench and pressing off the arm
• the nut
• the arm
• the washer hose from the wiper arm.
