Removing windshield wiper arm

Remove: 

• nut, unscrew a few turns to protect the thread on the wiper mechanism spindle.
• wiper arm from wiper arm mechanism by supporting a pipe wrench on the nut and pressing off the arm.

Remove: 

• nut.
• wiper arm
