Installing the SIPS airbag transport safety device

CAUTION:

Seats with SIPS airbag must always have the transport safety device installed in order to avoid accidentally activating the system when working on the seat.

Install the SIPS airbag transport safety device as follows:

Remove the side panel (A) by lifting the front edge and pressing to the rear.

Remove the transport safety device from its holder on the inside of the control panel.
Install the transport safety device on the sensor module.
