Checking control module memory

• Ignition on.
• Disconnect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) from the VIDA station. Use it in stand alone mode and connect it to the data link connector (DLC) in the car.
• Use the System test function to test the control module memory. For more information about the System test, see System Test .

  Check that the control module memory is OK or not.

  If memory functions OK is displayed.

Is control module memory OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to Intermittent fault 

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing control module
