Checking connectors and cable
Check the RTI control module and combined instrument panel connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check the cable between the control module #B3 and combined instrument panel terminal A7 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults , a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults , and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Remedy as necessary.
