Fault-tracing information
Condition
There is a red diode in the display which lights up or flashes when the power supply to the display is less than 9 V or higher than 18 V.
Substitute Value
None.
Possible Source
- Badly charged battery.
- charging system does not charge or overcharges
- Open-circuit in power supply to display.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
Fault symptom[s]
- The red diode in the screen does not light.
- If in addition the display temperature is too high the red diode will flash.
- Display will not fold up.
