Checking Communication With RTI Control Module (1998): Verification: Notes

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows:

• Ignition off.
• Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.
• RTI control module connected.
• Ignition on
• Volvo Scan Tool (ST) connected to data link connector (DLC).

  Try to establish communication with the RTI system by reading off the status for the light switch position.

Has communication with the RTI system been established? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
