DTC CI-232: Control Module Not Programmed

This DTC will set if instrument panel module is not programmed. If DTC CI-232 is set, service reminder light will flash.
To correct this problem, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read DTC counter. If DTC counter is more than zero, problem is intermittent. Retest system. If DTC counter is zero, reprogram instrument cluster with previous data read-out. Retest system.
