DTC CI-141: 12-Pulse Speed Signal Shorted To Ground

This DTC will set if signal is shorted to ground and speed is more than 1.2 MPH. Cruise control will shut down and set a DTC. Automatic volume control will not function.
To correct this problem, place gear selector in "N" position. Lift and support front wheels. Ensure front wheels are hanging free. With scan tool connected to DLC, turn ignition on. Go into scrolling values under engine management and read speed. Spin a front wheel exceeding 1.2 MPH for 2 seconds.
If scan tool displays a speed more than zero MPH, problem is intermittent. Retest system. If scan tool displays zero MPH, repair short to ground in Yellow/Black wire between instrument cluster connector terminal A11 and appropriate module terminal.
