Abs Warning Light

- Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABS control module connector. ABS control module is located under master cylinder. Connect Breakout Box (9813190). Turn ignition on. Check voltage between breakout box pins No. 8 and 16. If reading is about 7 volts, go to next step. If reading is not about 7 volts, go to step 3).
- Check ABS bulb. Replace as necessary. If bulb is okay, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article in the ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT section.
- Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article in the ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT section. Disconnect ABS light instrument cluster connector. Check resistance between breakout box pins No. 8 and 16. If ohmmeter reads infinite resistance, replace instrument cluster. If ohmmeter does not read infinite resistance, check wiring between ABS control module connector terminal No. 16 and instrument cluster connector terminal B6 for a short to ground.
