Fault Condition

The PAIR pump valve is checked by disabling the long-term fuel trim and Canister Purge (CP) valve control. The PAIR pump is started and the PAIR pump valve is kept closed, if the short-term fuel trim integrator rises above a set value within 6 seconds DTC 446 is stored.
