Fault Condition

The Pulsed Secondary Air Injection System (PAIR) is checked by disabling the long-term fuel trim and Canister Purge (CP) valve control. The Engine Control Module (ECM) then checks the short-term fuel trim integrator. If integrator is at maximum, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) EFI-442 (PAIR) will be stored.
