Clearing Codes

- All fault codes must be displayed in order at least once before they can be cleared. Display of first code displayed, a second time, indicates all codes in memory have been displayed. Fault codes must be displayed during same ignition-on period before they can be cleared.
- Verify fault codes have been cleared by repeating retrieval steps. See RETRIEVING CODES . If more fault codes are displayed, record codes and repeat code retrieving procedure. Record these codes and repeat clearing procedure. If fault codes are still present, correct faults and repeat clearing code procedure. To ensure SRS fault codes are now cleared, perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
